Worked ended early today and after grabbing some lunch, I headed to Aldi for a few last-minute needs.  Most of the cars in the parking lot were in a cluster closer to the door, as it had been raining off and on all day and was still drizzling.  I drove further away from the door and parked close to a median strip in the parking lot.  I noticed a shopping cart had been parked on top of the median in the mulch.  Two folded paper bags were in the cart and the quarter was still in the coin slot.  The cart and bags were dry so they had not been outside very long. 

I smiled in appreciation of this gift!  I had not checked to see if I had a quarter in my purse (many times I have no change), and I always forget to carry my bags in with me when I go to Aldi.  Even though I have a dozen in the back of my vehicle I never remember them until I am standing in the check-out lane, and I end up carrying my groceries out to the car and packing the bags in the parking lot. 

Today the quarter and bags were provided!  I happily pulled the cart off the median and headed inside.  I found everything on my short list and pushed the cart out to my car as I had also bought a case of water.  I only needed one of the bags for my purchases, so I left the other bag in the cart and rolled it back to the front of the store with the quarter still in the slot.  I wanted to share my blessing and hoped someone who needed a lift would get the cart.
