I am writing to recap and explain why the release date has changed several times since I first announced the book was going to be published. 

I entered a book publishing contest offered through “Hunter Heart Publishing” and was declared the winner at the end of December 2014.  I give God credit for directing my attention to their Facebook page and the contest and for winning the book deal!  This contest included the book jacket design, all editing, and publishing.  It did not include the cost of printing.  At the time I won the contest I had the funds to cover the printing costs; however, I remained unemployed for months and used my savings for living expenses.  When it was time to pay for the printing, I did not have the money and trusted God to provide.  Writing this book was an assignment from Him.  The Holy Spirit guided the writing every day when I sat down at my desk to work.  The following comments from the publisher affirm His presence in the writing, “Iris, this is the FIRST book in 10 years that we’ve received that was almost perfect in edit, style, thought and tone! It is a beautiful read, Iris!!! I know God was with you holding your hand as you wrote this book!”

Because I could not pay for the printing at that time, I lost my place in line as there were other books ready to print.  Meanwhile, I continued to pray every day for the needed funds.  I had a strong persistent reassurance that the money would be provided, but I did not know how or where it would come from.  The weeks have passed by in silence, until last week.  The publisher messaged me and told me the cost had been covered by an anonymous person who does not want to be identified.  Someone had contacted her directly last week and had made the full payment to her company.  The publisher is now communicating with the printer to get a more precise print date and release date.  She will share that information with me as soon as she knows but has already stated it will be sometime in November.  God touched the heart of a special person to do this, and I believe (and pray) they will be blessed abundantly through their obedient generosity. 

I apologize to those of you who have been frustrated or suspect about these delays.  It was just a matter of waiting on His perfect timing.  As soon as I know the exact date, I will post that information.  God bless those of you who have been supportive and covering me in prayer through this entire process.  I am super excited to hold an actual printed copy of the book in my hands and for God to work through His beautiful love story!
